I do realize that recent college graduates aren't the most "grounded" of people out there. We're still young, still restless, and perhaps still nostalgic of the careless 4 years that have passed us by recently...
However, there is a time for everyone, regardless of who you were in college, to get real, and wake up to some serious coffee (preferably, Turkish).
Below are just some of my pet peeves that I have acquired lately, due to the increasing amount of stupidity created by some freshly graduated "young professionals"...
MY TOP 5
1. Not seeing the consequences...when you drink a lot, sleep around a lot, be prepared to deal with the consequences that will quickly ensue (i.e. becoming an alcoholic, nymphomaniac, etc)
2. Don't use big, fancy words when you don't know when to use them. I know the thesaurus is just a quick away honey, but it don't mean shit when you don't use the word or idea in its proper context...you're not fooling anyone, babe, only yourself :)
3. Pretending to know what the hell you're doing. If you don't know what you're doing, regardless of what it is, just ask for help...seriously, this could be in fashion, men, who to hang out with, re-analyzing yourself, or even pivotal life decisions...and make sure you don't ask the retard sitting next to you, try to utilize some of your better off friends (if you have or are accessible to any that is).
4. If you're not cool, then stop trying to be. Just because you surround yourself with people who are a hundred times more social, well dressed, intellectual, and wealthier than you, doesn't exactly make you one of them.
5. Don't ever, ever bullshit a bullshitter. We know who you are, what you really are, and what you're not. So, beware.
